A boon gift from the nature flax seed has many health benefits.. Like it is high in omega 3 fatty acid. It has abundant of vitamin b, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, iron and copper.
It is high in fibre. Rich in lignans – phytoestrogen that protect against cancer.
Anti inflammatory properties.. aids in constipation, burn fats.. Anti viral, anti bacterial.. Fires up metabolism..
Ingredients
- 100 grams Flax seed (alsi)
- 1 whole red chilli
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 table spoon coriander seeds
- 2 table spoon finely chopped onion
- 2 table spoon Lemon juice
- I medium green chilli
- Salt as per taste
Directions
- Heat the pan. Dry roast flax seeds on medium heat until it crackles. When crackling sound start simmer the heat. When crackling stop then remove from the heat.
- Dry roast coriander seeds , garlic and whole red chilli separetly for 2 minutes on medium heat. Remove the skin of garlic.
- keep asides for 10 minutes . Add coriander seeds, red chilli, garlic.
- Make a very fine powder of this in grinder.
- Take it out from grinder. Put in a bowl.
- Add adquete amount of water to make a thin batter/ paste with help of your hand.. Make sure that there should not any lump in this batter. Check the consistency.. It should be pouring consistency.
- Add chopped onions, green chillies, salt and lemon juice.
- Mix well. Chutney is ready to serve.
- Include this chutney in your daily meal.. It taste yummy .

My mom tips –
* Grind fine powder of this roasted flaxseed until it separate oil. When oil separate it’s taste really awesome. Finely chopped onion and green chillies and Lemon juice make this chutney awesome.
