Makhane gond dry fruit ladoo –

Ingredients –

Holi special

100 gram Makhana (fox nut /lotus seed)

50 gram gond

10 pieces almond( finely chopped)

8 table spoon sugar(prefer boora or powdered sugar

10 gram pistachios(pista) finely chopped

10 cashewnut (finely chopped)

200 gram pure desi ghee ( clarified butter)

Method –

*Heat the kadhai or non stick pan. Dry roast the makhana on medium heat for atleast 10-12 minutes or untill makhanas become crispy.

*keep aside for 3-4 minutes

*Heat a pan add 1 tsp of ghee .add almond for 2 minutes on medium heat.

*keep aside it.

*Heat the 50 gram of ghee on non stick kadhai. Grind the gond in to a coarse powder . Take 1 tbsp of gond at a time and puffed in a ghee on medium to low heat. Adjust heat accordingly.

Be sure that gond is puffed equally inside too. And don’t burn.

Likewise puffed all the gond .

Keep aside and cool down completely.

* Heat one tbsp of ghee on a kadhai. Take cashewnut . Fry for one minute.

Keep aside.

* Heat one tsp of ghee in a pan add very finely chopped green pistachios.(pista)

*Grind makhane in a grinder to coarse (rava) like powder. Discard the large particals.

*Take a bowl add coarse powdered makhana ,powdered sugar or (sugar bura ), almond , fried coarse gond.

*Add rest of the ghee accordingly.

* Add cashew nuts and pistachios.

*Mix very well.

*If needed add some more amount of ghee on it.

* Check the taste of sugar according to your taste.

* Make medium size of ladoos by the help of your hand.
