Hello Friends,
I am a simple girl next door armed with masters degree in Psychology and a Phd in Clinical Psychology. It is my love for food which makes me different from others. I didn’t let my big degrees dissuade me from perusing my real love—to have fun with food. To me it is worth a thousand jobs to see a smile on a child’s face as he savors my dish, the sense of wonderment on a friends’ face as she tries to guess the ingredients of a new dish created by me, the excitement on my family’s face when they know I am trying something new, and greatest of all the satisfaction of making the most of my creativity, my potential.
My role model is my mother Asha, to whom I’ve dedicated and named this website. Since childhood I’ve seen my mother try out dishes with veggies, pulses and other nutritious food item just so we like them and eat them. Buoyant with that support and guidance at home I too started cooking and experimenting with food at a very young age. Soon, what started as a hobby turned into a passion and a challenge for me. My family always stood by me by not only critically evaluating my dishes but also giving feedback and suggestions which helped me to fine tune my skill and also gave me encouragement and support. She enjoy each and every moments of life. I always want to follow my mom’s life mantra “NEVER GIVE UP”. This mantra always strengthens me and encourage me to face the challenges of life.
