Today  we are  here  with  chilled  beat the heat drink -Refreshing  falsa sharbat

Ingredients

  • Falsa(grewia  asiatica) – 250  grams
  • Sugar  –  8 table spoon
  • Black salt  –  1/2 tea spoon
  • Roasted cumin  powder  (jeera)  –  1/2 tea spoon
  • Water –  2 1/2 glass
  • Some ice cubes
  • For garnishing
  • Mint  leaves and  Some  falsa

Directions

 

  • Heat  the  saucepan  at  medium  heat add  water  falsa  and  sugar.
    Let  it  boil  for  8-10 minutes while  stirring  occasionally.
  • Take  off  the  heat. Let  it  cool  down  completely.
  • Add  cumin powder,  Black salt  and  mix  well.
  • Press  gently  with  spoon /ladle the cooked  falsa , So  that  the  falsa  mashed  easily.
  • Strain  twice  with  the  strainer.  Refrigerate  for an hour.
  • Pour  into  a  glass  filled  with  lots of  ice cubes.
  •  Garnish with  falsa  and  mint sprig.

    Note  – You  can  store  this sharbat for  a  week  in  a  refrigerator. Use as  required.

Instant Falsa sharbat

Preparation time  – 10 minutes
Cooking time  – 0 minutes
Makes 2 glass

Ingredients  –
Falsa  (grewia  asiatica) –  250  grams
Sugar –   8 table spoon (  powdered  sugar)
Black salt  – 1/2 tea spoon
Roasted cumin powder(jeera ) – 1/2 tea spoon
Cold water 2 glass
Ice cubes

For garnishing
Fresh  Mint leaves  and  Some  falsa.

Method  –

  • Wash  and  clean  falsa with water.  Strain water
  • Put all  falsa  in  juicer  mixer.
  • Add sugar,  black salt  and  roasted cumin powder.Add  water.
  • Blend  in  a mixer  for a minute. Make  sure  that  falsa  is  not  over  crushed.  Seed  should  be  not   grind very  smooth. Press gently  with  ladle or  spoon.
  • Strain  twice  with  Strainer.
  • Pour  into  a  glass  filled with  lots of ice cubes.
  • Garnish  with fresh  mint sprig  and  falsa.
